A full out assault on getting in shape quick can leave you out of commission (sore) for up to two weeks. A good way to ease your way back into a fitness life style, try basic exercises and movements. Always start your workout with a dynamic warm up and end your work out with a static stretch.
Before you start working out, start with 15 mins of cardio. Getting your heart rate up then exercising has helped my clients burn more body fat in a shorter amount of time. I have an older post that can be helpful called “Primetime Workout”.
The bases of the workout is to exercise during commercial breaks of your favorite program while switching exercises every commercial. This workout will help you ease back into exercising and is highly recommended to maximize the effect of personal training later on.
Start with this and repeat every other day for 3 weeks, then contact Adrenaline Rush Sports for Personal Training.
Day 1 (1 – 1.5 hours)
- 15 min cardio
- Push Ups
- Core Exercise: Plank, Crunches….
- Deep Body Squats
- Jumping Jacks
- Hip Ups
- 30 – 60 minutes cardio
Keep track of how many you are doing and try to beat the number of repetitions from the day before. You will be surprised how quickly you improve!!
